It's been a week since the Fourth of July and because I usually have my camera by my side, I can't resist taking pictures of those sweet little ones in my family. You know....the cute ones I'm referring to, don't you? Those two little girl's, one little boy and that adorable baby boy who arrived 4.5 months ago.....that's who I'm talking about. And because I NEVER want you to forget their darling little faces, I am about to show you pictures of them....again, because I NEVER want you to forget what they look like! I'm sorry....I just can't help myself!
Besides the love of this family of mine, I can never resist taking pictures of flowers. I will look for flowers wherever I go.....I'm a sucker for beautiful, colorful flowers of any kind. And, because I never want to disappoint, here are
shots of flowers from the Fourth. The picnic we went too was on five acres of property. And the setting was truely beautiful. There was also an area called Gunpowder, where you could take the kids to wade in the water. It was a hot, steamy day. The humidity was horrible. I don't like humidity. Have I ever told you that before?
Well, anyway....here are some shots of flowers and the surrounding property. And the last three pictures are from my Tennessee trip. I just had to add their beauty to this post!

My son and L.J. came to visit while I was off.....continuing my vacation, and we decided to go to the duck pond so that L.J. could feed the ducks. Something that he associates now with me. I brought a loaf of bread and it was gone in about ten minutes. We had all of the ducks from across the pond, swim right up in front of us. These ducks are crazy hungry all of the time, or so it seems. But anyone that shows up at the pond with food in hand, can also have all of the ducks swim right up to them too! They love everyone! Here are pictures from our day at the duck pond.

As I ended my last post, I mentioned that I was going to write and show pictures of the seahorse exhibit. While at the Tennessee Aquarium, I learned more about seahorses then at any time in my life. They weren't just any seahorses. There were the most beautiful species that I have ever seen. Can I just say that I am so intrigued by them? If you would like to learn more about them, please go here.
Here is a picture of the skeletal system of the seahorse.
Even though I have a great fascination for the different species, my favorite is the dragon seahorse.
Besides the seahorses, I found other exhibits that I enjoyed too. Here are some of my favorite pictures. Because of the lighting inside, they are not the best.
And the real reason that I wanted to go to the aquarium was to see the butterfly exhibition. That was such a great place to visit. Butterflies were all around us and if you were very lucky, one just might land on you. That didn't happen to us, but it did to many others. Here are a few pictures.
