Decorating Christmas Cookies

In this first picture, Gianna is saying, "just one more"! If you look closely, you will see a green ring all around her little mouth. She decorated a cookie and then ate it. What a girl!

We had a lot of fun decorating the cookies that Kelli baked. But I have to admit that we wouldn't have won even a recognition for those cookies. They looked very bad.....but tasted pretty good. That's what really matters, ugh?

Hailee is seen here about to squirt that yucky canned icing in her mouth. That stuff tastes horrible. And I might add that it is difficult to decorate with. Or maybe we just don't have whatever it is you need to make a beautiful cookie!

And this last picture is just a few of the cookies that we decorated. They don't look very pretty but they sure did taste good! Thank goodness! Kelli took some to a Christmas Day get together and the "kids" loved them.

Sandy - it was fun.....and I have to give Kelli so much credit...she is such a good mom. I mentioned that I didn't make cookies that many times with her and she said, "mom, I was never deprived growing up".

CM - Kelli actually rolled, cut-out and baked the cookies. I came in on the fun part. We had a really good time. The kids really enjoyed it and I loved being a part of it.

Amber - they tasted good! I had my share, unfortunately. The new year is almost here....time for changes.

Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family!

What adorable green teeth. That is such a fun time with grandma. The cookies look wonderful. How I wished I was closer to my little ones who love to mess around in the kitchen with me.

Happy New Year BJ, can't imagine not knowing you...this has been a good blogger year...my first!

Sandy - you're a great friend. I wonder what's in store for bloggers in 2008? Looking forward to the new year and all of your beautiful art work. It's exciting for someone like me.....who can't even draw a stick person! (he-he)

How right she is, you can't possibly serve something that had not been taste tested :)

What fun.

Oh BJ, I love the flowers in your banner! I think Winter is so beautiful....Burrrr but I'm ready for Spring...one reason I redid my kitchen in the lavenders and blues.

Thanks for being such a delightful and faithful friend. When I see your comments on other people's blogs, I'm reminded what a dear and sensitive person you are.

I'm so glad we met this year! Looking forward to many more visits in 2008.

isadora - yes, G definitely has the right idea....decorate a cookies....eat a cookie! Much fun was had decorating those cookies! And thank you for stopping by.

wanda - thank you so much for your kind words. I feel so blessed to have found you in blogworld! I have enjoyed coming to your blog each day and finding such inspirational words and beautiful artwork. You are a friend indeed.

Looking forward to Spring and the re-birth of gorgeous flowers and warm, sunny days.

It is cold here in Maryland today. But may be 60 by the beginning of next week. We have some tough months to get through. But I do love the change of seasons.

Love & hugs coming your way!
